Hiya! I have a question for my NaNo novel. At one point, my MC is hurriedly heading out into yard in a storm while very distracted by drama. I want her to get injured badly enough to need around 8-10 weeks of recovery time before she can get back to work, and the season is right for tornado- or tornado-adjacent weather. Would getting hit by a tree branch or something similar do an appropriate degree of injury? What kinds of injuries would be likely?

I don’t know how to word it properly, but what are the possible injuries for a person who’s been run over (or, as google translate says, trampled??) by a large group of people?
