My character is a doctor, but his non-dominant arm and hand is weak, uncoordinated, and unreliable due to an old, traumatic injury. It’s all numb, too. I have a character (19ish female) who is badly injured in an accident, and I need the doctors involved to decide just to make her comfortable until she dies. (She survives via cyborg tech but yeah.) At what point would the average doctor decide her situation is hopeless? Would certain kinds of injuries prompt that decision? Would her being so young effect that decision at all?
